My Australian Shepherd mix has very thick fur, but this soft t-shirt costume fit him comfortably. He refused to wear the headpiece, but even without that he got rave reviews from the Halloween crowd. A bonus is the fact that it is a low-maintenance costume---just slip it on and you're done; much better than other years where we spent half the night adjusting and re-adjusting the outfit we had on him. This is a cute little costume that my dog is gonna enjoy. Its soft and stretchy like a t-shirt so its gonna be comfortable for him. In fact, something tells me he'll want to wear it all winter to keep him a little warmer.

Purchased a large because my dog is very stocky and it's tough to find stuff to fit his neck/chest. This seems to do the job ok. A Medium might have worked but I'd rather not take the chance and have to send it back. Size seems to be true to what the size chart reads.
