There's a lot to like about the Nikon S700. First and foremost for me is photo quality. It's quite excellent in my opinion. I like vivid colors, so I have my camera set to vivid all the time, and this gives me rich but still natural-looking colors. I also bought the Canon Powershot SD780 is for it's HD video, but I must say I like the NIkon S700's IQ better. I think most people will prefer the Canon's crisp and vivid photo rendition, but I like Nikon because it almost look like film and has a less processed look. Noise levels are also pretty good.
The only thing that bothers me about the S700 is its' autofocus seem to miss more that the Canon, but otherwise, the Nikon is a great camera with lots of resolution.Get more detail about Coolpix S700 12.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom with Vibration Reduction (Silver).
